Well, I leave in 5 days! It doesn't even feel like 5 days either because I won't be home at all this weekend because of our family reunion. Therefore, all of the packing must be done before that! I, of course, overprepare, so my important documents are not only copied, but also scanned on to my computer and then saved on my thumb drive as well. I can have them wherever I go! Other than that, I have been working on thesis research and trying to get through War and Peace (I wouldn't mind finishing that before I go so I don't have to lug it with its glorious 1400 pages to Paris...)... Oh, and getting really excited! I'm nervous because I anticipate and worry like its my job, but I know it will be an absolutely amazing experience. I just got an email the other day from the company I am travelling with, and I get to go on an excursion to Rouen, the place where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake!!! Right up my alley...
Anyway, that's it for now. Once I get settled in Paris, I am going to try to post regularly with pictures, stories, and experiences. There will definately be many!
