Hello everyone!  As you might already know, I am spending the fall semester in South Africa.  I am doing a community health themed study abroad program with about 20 other students from all over the US.  I decided to keep a travel blog while I am gone instead of doing mass emails, so that way you can check as often or as little as you want and at your convenience.  Please please still send me emails with updates on your lives and what is going on in the States (hardle5@wfu.edu).
 
I am leaving Thursday the 28th from Richmond and meeting the rest of my group at JKF before the long flight to Africa.  Hopefully I will have quite the adventure, meet a lot of new people, and learn a lot about health issues in South Africa... here I go!

Your sister will miss you!
Dear Lauren, North Carolina was bad enough. Now I have to get used to you being even so much farther away! I am excited for what fun adventures you are about to have, and for all that you will surely give and gain while in South Africa. But I will miss you a lot, and I can't wait to see you again for Christmas! Sadie doesn't have any idea where South Africa is, but she is quite sure it is way too far away from her.
