We flew back through Madrid last night and stayed in Athens then left for an early flight this morning for Santorini.  It's a beautiful area and the people are incredibly friendly.  Jess Thompson (Mirak) and George - we gave a shout out to the land of your people!

We have a couple hours to kill in Santorini before boarding the sailboat this evening so we're sitting at a cafe trying to catch up on a few things.   We will be joined by 6 other tourists from all over the world and one skipper to sail the 50-foot boat that we'll call home for the next 7 nights.  Mom and Dad - hopefully all those years of sailing lessons will finally pay off... Port is the left side, right, no left?  Kidding, just kidding.

Amandah - you'd be happy to hear that our taxi driver this morning asked about the Red Sox when we told him we were from Boston, and Vanessa - the book you gave us helped us find this very cafe we're sitting in!

More later this week... thanks for all the comments and responses; it's great hearing from everyone!

hi guys
Andy and LJ,
Glad to hear you're having a blast (although that tour guide in Morocco seemed like a real jabroney). The ATV's in the Sahara sounded legit. You guys are really getting it done over there. But Andy does look a bit too comfortable in the picture featuring his 'European bathing suit' (in fact, I think I've seen him wearing those spandex swim trunks on more than one occasion). Anyway, I can't believe it's only 2 weeks or so before we meet you in Turkey... I'm working on finishing out the itinerary for Bodrum and will send you info later this week. Have fun in Greece!

Just Caught Up
Hey Guys,

Just getting caught up on your travels. Looks like an amazing time! I was disappointed to hear about the camera but thought it was very kind of you to hire the kid that stole it to take pictures of you during the rest of your trip.

Tell him I think he's doing a great job and to keep posting them for us!

Safe travels,
Mike

Love the color
Guy's,
Great color on your travels. I feel like I am sitting shotgun listening to the Boss through Andy's headset without actually having to put them on and can imagine there is dust every where. At least in Morocco. I love the adventure. I'll keep checking in.

Go USA!

Greece Lightening
I know lame title, but I couldn't come up with anything more inventive! HA - anyway, just wanted to let you know I am sitting in my office reading all your amazing stories and wishing I was there...or at least doing something similar! I can't wait to see pictures of Greece, it's one of the places Pat and I really want to go. Thanks for giving all of us at home a taste of your vacation!

Wish my job didn't start until after Labor Day....
Mac and LJ - I'm now bummed I didn't negotiate a MUCH later start date for my new job. The trip looks awesome. I'm surprised didn't 'almost have to kill' the guide! That's more his style than the passive-aggressive headphones. You must me a good influence on him, LJ.

Headed to the Cape this weekend for the 4th. Bummed to not be taking you guys out in 'Tuition Free' this week, but I'm guessing your adventures might be a little more exciting. Enjoy the sail!

DO IT
Lauren and Andy,

Your trip sounds awesome. I just read all of your entries and it sounds like it's been one adventure after another! I hope you are having a great time in Greece. I can't wait to hear all about it once you get off the boat.

Safe travels,

Annie

PS - Andy, killer bathing suit :) sweet picture!
