It has become quite clear that our guide does not like his job (or women).  He barely speaks English, knows little to no history of the region and tries to turn off the A/C in the car constantly.  Today, when he found that the breeze from the open windows was too much, he decided to close them...which would have been ok had my hand not still been in between my window and the roof.  It is fine though, although Andy had a few things to say in angry broken French.  It has gotten so far past the point of acceptable, that it is actually easier to deal with the way he is...today, when he was trying to explain our itinerary, Andy and I had our headphones on, and Andy put on Born in the USA and turned the volume up all the way while continuing to just nod his head to the guide.  We have also gotten used to making random French words into sentences and pretending they are questions...he seems quite confused and annoyed by this....we find it quite funny.
