FULL MOON FEVER!!!!
Well, since my plans changed again it was hard to reserve a bus ticket- as a result the bus is booked for 2 days....now back in Calafate to chill for a few days before heading to the absolute end of the world, Ushuaia! This rest is good for me though because I am practicing patience and relaxin! I am always on the go, so much that I dont éver really sit and take it all in! I would hate to miss a learning experience because I am moving too quickly to stop and smell the roses! And, by doctors orders, I have to stay off my feet for a few days because I have really put them through hell on this trip....they are hurtin pretty bad, just all torn up and blistered from constant movement....actually I cut my foot open on Easter Island pretty badly, I should have gotten some stitches but I toughed it out and even though its healing nicely, after the last 3 days hiking I need some time off the feet! Also, I have a reoccuring blister (my entire little toe)that needs to heal.
Blah Blah, the last thing you want to hold you back is some pain on your feet but they are the vessels carrying me around this world so I must treat them with proper care!! Decided to treat ourselves out to dinner after cooking or the last 2 weeks straight! Um, met up with the guys from our last hostel and they brought along another....in the end they were good for the wine and turned out to be not such great guys...EXCEPT RALF! The German guy -pic him out in the pics) he is so fun! Lives in SF too- and knows my favorite sushi dive joint -THE ZONE!!!- ohhh sushi! Anyway enjoyed our meal and moved on! So right now Sadie and I are in Calafate, killing time and preparing for the next leg of the journey- which begins at 3AM this morning. This is the longest I have traveled with one person (other than Sangster) on this whole trip....speaking of Sangster....
today I picked up a Spanish National Geographic and saw Jason´s Photo published of the Tibetan Monk!!! Congrats Sangster- Great Job!! More thumbnails ...
