Lived Oct . 18 AGAIN!! First time in New Zealnd, second time in Tahiti- After crossing the international date line somewhere in the South Pacific I gained all the hours I had lost while moving east in one shot...therefore, I experienced the same 24 hours all over again. I left New Zealand at 2 pm on the 18th and arrived in Tahiti at 7 PM on the 17th!
I stayed at the cheapest hostel in Tahiti becasue I heard how horribly expensive it would be there- I brought all my own food and preparped for the worst- luckily it was fantastic! I hitched around the island with 2 German girls- we saw everything in one day- went surfing, swimming and hiking to wateralls....the sunset was spectacular and we cooked dinner at the hostel before I jumped back on a plane and headed to EASTER ISLAND!! Tahiti was lovely and I had a very nice expereience but going to Easter is probably what I have been looking most forward to seeing!
Looks so beautiful....miss you....hope you're well...it's autumn in New England...nothing prettier than the foliage this time of the year...crisp weather and lots of leaves....going to rake with Miss Mary this weekend....and then show her how to 'jump' in the leaves!! Missing you...Love MOM
