Nha Trang has a nice beach, but it's not nearly as beautiful as Mui Ne and is far more commercial.  Instead of lining the beach with guest houses, it's lined with public parks and a couple of restaurants.  That sounds like it should be better than Mui Ne, but it's not nearly as nice as just walking to your backyard and sitting down.  The sand at the beach is rather rocky and not so nice for sitting on, but the chair rental monopoly ensures that you pay a $1.50 and buy something at one of the restaurants.  After just a couple of hours I knew that I didn't need to stay here long.  Unfortunately as I started looking into catching a bus to Hoi An, my next destination, I discovered that during low season they cancel all the day buses.  Leaving me to either travel at night or attempt to find a small town to get a local bus to during the day and then another one the next day.  Neither are exactly great options, so I opted for the tourist night bus.  That meant spending an extra day hanging around town, not doing much of anything.  But at least my guest house had a good book exchange, so I was able to trade in the three books I had already finished and pick up some new ones, no longer requiring me to stretch out my current book I've been doing the last couple of days.  Plus I decided to pamper myself a bit and got a massage and pedicure.  I'm sure all relaxing effects from the massage will be erased on the bus tonight, but at least I had a few hours afterward to enjoy it.
