A one-night stopover
Entry 79 of 158 | show all | print this entry |
With my 8am train to Vienna using the free ticket about an hour bus ride from Cesky Krumlov, I decided to spend the night in Cesky Budejovice so I could sleep in a bit and not have to catch a 6:30am bus. I had a couple of hours in the afternoon to walk around and explore the town. It was nice, with a cute town square, but nothing really special. The best part was a really tasty dinner at an Indian restaurant, thanks to a recommendation from the owner of Krumlov House.
When I got to the train station in the morning, I met up with 4 people from the hostel in Cesky Krumlov (though I was only expecting the one guy who had taken the other free ticket since there were cheaper ways to get to Vienna).
