After breakfast, we started our last day in the jungle with a couple of hours of hiking.  This hike was more similar to the first day in that we only went through small amounts of water.  After the hike we went on a canoe ride down the river.  Traditionally, the indigenous people rode canoes everywhere and used them to transport anything that needed transporting.  While the ride started out nice and smooth, we ended up hitting some rapids that seemed like we were white water rafting again, only without all the gear.  Luckily we didn't get too wet.  Though, one of the random dogs that had hopped in the canoe with us ended up falling out somewhere along the route.  Hopefully it knows how to swim.

After lunch, it was time to head back to Baņos.  On the way back we stopped at a bridge for those of the more adventurous among us to take a try at swing jumping.  Swing jumping is similar to bungee jumping, though you jump from one bridge while the cords are tied to another one about 30 ft away.  Then people swing back and forth rather than bouncing up and down.  I didn't feel a need for the adrenaline rush, so I just watched the couple of others who decided to do it.

When we finally reached Baņos I was very happy to head back to the hostel and take a long, hot shower and change into clean clothes.  All of the clothes that I had brought with me were covered in mud and absolutely disgusting.  Once I was clean again, I went out and bought some veggies to cook for dinner and spent the evening hanging out in the hostel watching Miss Congeniality dubbed in Spanish with English subtitles with a couple of other people.
