We Headed to Newcastle from the blue mountains. The trip took about 3 hours which felt long at the time but the trip was easy enough. Jake the snake our Rock tour guide from Uluru reccommended that we saw his home town and we were not disappointed. Firstly we went into the town center and walked around the shops. Today we had a great of a nice lunch out which, wait for it, cost $7! We then headed to the Nobbys beach and played in the surf. Its always good to play in the surf as i enjoy it and really enjoy watching laura get to grips with the idea of going 'under the wave'.

Later on we had a walk to see the outside swimming pools and watched a few good surfers who were enjoying the good conditions. We then headed to our free campsite, which we could not find, so we ended up in another one with quite a few people next to a golf course. A shame really that i didnt bring the clubs. We got to the site so late that we ended up cooking in the dark and the pan we had basically stuck the food to it rather than cooking it.
