The flight from Uluru was not until 4pm so we went into Alice Springs town for a couple of hours. For some reason the bus from the hostel left about 3 hours before the flight, so we had a wait in the airport. The flight back to Adelaide was easy, arrived back into Adelaide about 8pm, was starving so cooked some dinner. Then after Alex, myself and Matt (from the Rock Tour) went for a walk in the city and had a coffee, but most importantly I got a chocolate tart very very yummy!! Was so tired so we went to sleep about midnight.

We had a lovely lie in and a chilled out day. Just walked around the city and brought some food for the next few days. In the evening we went to Elder Park in the city and watched Carols By Candlelight. Most cities in Australia have these events, it made us feel quite Christmassey. It was very busy and at the end there was fireworks!!

On the 21st, Alex decided it was probably time for a shave...but he left himself with a moustache, have a look for yourselves but I think he defiantely looks like a sex pervert-opinions please? So I made him go and shave it off even though he desparately wanted to keep it for the day, I was not going to walk around with him looking like that. we packed a picnic and went down to Elder Park and sat by the river, read our books and lounged around in the sun. As this is much cheaper than catching the tram down to Glenlg. After sitting there for a few hours we went and had a look around Adelaide Oval (Cricket Ground). There was a provincial game on South Australia against West Australia, there was only about 200 people, we got in for free and watched about 2 hours and saw 5 wickets it was quite good.

On the 22nd, our last day in Adelaide we had a relaxing morning then we went to the Adelaide Central Markets. It was full of fresh fruit, veg and meat. We spent the day organising a Christmas present for Jill and Kev (people we are spending Christmas with) and then just walked around the city. I had to spend a couple of hours sorting out my stuff as I always manage to spread my stuff around.
