Instead of an overnight train, we had the joys of an all day train - that is much worse than night but luckily we got air con and I found a comfy seat out of the way and the hours disappeared quite quickly.....
The beach we have come to Goa is described by the lonley planet as one of the worst...... but it is lively and close to the airport and train station..... tons in Indian tourists here which makes sunbathing a rather stressful activity - you don't get a moments peace between beach sellers, questions about where you are from etc and trying to avoid people suruptisiously (that is spelt wrong i know......) taking photos of you...... we did find a quieter spot today though and got some sun and went swimming - the waves are fun!
The tour finished on monday, it has been such a long time with everyone, I am ready for something different! have had a good few days on my own sorting out my backpack and ready to go now. I am spending the next week with Isabella, the canadian girl from my trip before I catch the flight to singapore. We moved into a cheaper room on monday and it like home! small balcony, huge room, firdge, tv, bathroom, pigs in the garden?! - what more could we want...... just the beer that we had only the balcony before we went out for dinner!
