another big town for us to find our way around...... we disocovered an amazing market with separate aisles for bananas, coconuts, flowers, potatoes - all sorts of fruit and veges. I bought a pineapple for my lunch and made a mess trying to cut it up in my room but it tasted good! tried some of the indian sweets here too - so full of sugar but really good! saw the mysore palace which was a pretty impressive building and wandered around the silk shops - people were spending a fortune on dresses and dressing gowns.....

and another overnight train!
