The train last night was the worst we have been on - in a non airconditioned carriage with a couple of fans made it a pretty hot and sticky night, on top of that the fear that the cockroaches would be running all over you as soon as you closed your eyes! despite that i did manage to have quite a good nights sleep!
The beach that we are on is in south kerala, a small beach town on the cliffe and quite a nice beach - was so nice to be able to go for a swim and lie on the beach after all the hot and sticky travelling we have been doing. I went for quite a long walk along the cliffes interpesed with the odd swim the next day and came across the locals with their goats, sardines drying in the sun, a man washing has buffalo in the stream...... i think I could easily stay here a few more days but no such luck......
