Jodhpur - more chaos

After a short 6 hour bus ride we arrived in Jodhpur, hopped on tuktuks with all our gear and whizzed through the streets to the old part of the city to our hotel - back into the chaos of city life. Spent a day here - walked up to another fort on top of hill and looked down over the city - most of the houses are painted blue - a spectacular view. Was invited into a local shopkeepers house for lunch - we watched her prepare the food so now I know how?! I have bought a packedt of spice so I will give it a go when I come home!! Walked around the bazaar with all the bangles and camel leather shoes. So many people were out and about - 26th January is India's Republic Day and a national holiday so the streets were packed.
