So we've found our way back to a major City for a while! Quite looking forward to Christmas and New Year here!!
So far we are loving Brisbane, the City isn't as close to the coast as Sydney, but fear not, Streets (you will know them as Wall's icecream) has saved the day and built a beach in the middle of the City! With proper sand, sea(a pool!) and life guards! It's certainly different, and actually known as the South Bank, which im sure is where we intend to spend the majority of our time!

We went on the river cat, its the best way to see the City, from the river! It was brilliant! saw some really lovely things!
We went on the hunt for what to do on Christmas day, turned out it wasn't as simple as we had hoped! Found some lovely restaurants and playing with the idea of going on a steam boat for Christmas lunch!! Oo-er!!

The South Bank has already proved useful as there were lots evetns being held, we were witness to another awesome firework display, the Queensland youth Choir were singing Christmas carols and we even squeezed in a panto! (Was hilarious, remember to ask us about the GASP-ing!!) There lots of bad elf jokes such us elf-ish,elf-il, elf-control,elf-club! etc.
It was just really lovely to get a bit Christmassy, in one way they celebrate it alot more than we do with the free events and stuff(they've been going on for a week!) But then Christmas isn't splashed every where like it is at home, Christmas trees a plenty but no decorations on people's homes,When we were in Surfers you wouldn't have thought it was less than a week till Christmas! Best of both worlds i suppose!!

We shall see....... and if were not on before Christmas, have a fantastic Christmas everyone!!!! Photos will be uploaded very soon with a video of the fireworks that is a must see so you get an idea of just how amazing the display was!
