We'll be honest, Surfers wasn't quite the paradise we were hoping for! Partly for the weather, it was pretty pants all weekend.And the town itself is very built up, we don't know about you but we imagined a lovely golden stretch of beach with a relatively small, humble town behind it! We were wrong, there are more highrises than London!(Not an exact fact!) and they're building another one that is gonna be 77 stories high! We thought it ruined the scenery a bit! On the up side surfers is more accredited now for its shopping, which we highly agree with! And it was so cheap!
The hostel in the outside seemed somewhat of a dump! But when we actually got to check in, it was nicer than expected, and a slightly different set up than we've seen before, it was like a little apartment, (sharing with 6 others) but we had our small dorms and a small kitchen and lounge area just for the 8 of us! Still didn't wanna prepare food in the kitchen, but it made a nice change!
We were also attacked by a cockroach! (No one told me they had flaming wings!!) To be fair we've been relatively lucky on the cockroach front(touch wood!) but this was a beauty!(wrong word, it was flippin horrible!) But one of the girls we were with belted it with her shoes then Steve finished the job with the frying pan! (another reason would not use the kitchen!)
Well iv seem to have written lots about a very uneventful weekend! Enjoy!
