Oh yes that is right, we only went to the flippin' Olympic Park!! And swam in THE Olympic Pool (we are very impressed with that fact!)
It may look just like another sports Stadium but it is pretty awesome what went into it and not just for the games, that 90% of the grounds are still open to and are used by the public! We had a tour through all the changing rooms (not that interesting) And the VIP boxes, media boxes etc. really just getting to see every nook and cranny!
We also saw.... wait for it.....the actual piece of grass that Jonny Wilkinson kicked the famous winning world cup goal against Australia! All the English on the tour mocked the tour guide about this (well you have too!) hehehehe!

I really think the highlight was seeing the actual podium for the 2000 Olympics! And getting to take the gold (we rock!)

The whole day was absoulutely awesome and i know a trip to Sydney isn't an everyday thing but the Olympic Park comes highly recommended on our list! You know, if you get a chance! :)
