Today being our last full day in Melbourne, we wanted to make it count. So we went to all the sites we didn't get to see earlier in the week:
The Royal Botanical Gardens
This was a beautiful place, you could really get lost for hours, (we got lost for 2!!) The photos really don't do it justice. We walked round all the lakes, (im sure, most of them twice!) had our lunch by the bank, almost had a fight with a seagull, (i would've had my ass kicked!) then we moved on....
The Melbourne Cricket Gorund - MCG
Quite famous in the world of sport especially cricket. (Steve gets this, i get my bungy jump!!) We took a tour around the stadium and then through the sports museum. We were taken onto the pitch, shown the 'boxes' where the players and their families sit during a match, brought down to the changing rooms, they are huge and way to fancy!, well the Aussie side is, the visitor side not so much! Oh and the highlight (not so much coz i can't stand the arrogant bugger, but still worth it) Shane Warne taught us how to play cricket!!
The Eureka SkyDeck
This had to be a must while in the City, the sky deck is currently the tallest buiding in the southern hemisphere. As you can see from the photos you really do get some breath taking views of the city (well maybe not so much, Steve is better with the camera, and he didn't wanna shoot to the 88th floor in 38seconds!) I did my best though!
The Melbourne Homeless World Cup
This is an event held around the world in the first week of December. It consists of 56 nations, men and women, 4-a-side teams battling it out for the ultimate prize, to be crowned champions!!
This, although alot smaller than the actual world cup, was a great thing to stumble across and had a brilliant atmosphere!!

I would like to see the photos!
That's too bad there aren't any there if the photos don't do the botanical gardens justice! It must've been so pretty.
