Excellent flight with Easyjet, nice and quick at 1hr 30m - just a touch early getting up at 3am. Arrived at the airport in Prague and got a local taxi, pretty easy but a bit expensive. They seem to be a bit impatient driving but nice and ordered - very little road rage!

City is full of trams which is nice, not good for the traffic but great to be so quiet. Hardly any road noise which made the city very peaceful and sedate. Excellent hotel and very central. Loved the executive lounge.... Couldn't really fault the hotel and staff - an absolutely massive room with great facilities. Breakfast was self service but excellent choices.

First day we wandered a bit to get our bearings. Simple city to travel around and nice to walk in. Weather was excellent. Took the tube which was clean and tidy, no 'gangs of fake police' trying to fleece tourists like a few reports suggested.

Wandered around the old square which is massive and very sedate, interesting buildings. The river is nice as it curls around the city. Visited a chocolate museum, missed the torture museum. Food was hard to find and not that exciting. One restaurant w found was pretty expensive and not inspiring. Wandered over the Charles Bridge and around.
