Flag of United States  , Washington
Monday, August 13, 2012

Today we arrived in La Push on a beautiful day.  La Push is the northern-most point of Washington’s Pacific Coast beaches from here to Cape Flattery.  The beach lies on the south side of the Quillayute River’s outlet into the Pacific Ocean at the northern edge of the Quileute Indian Reservation.  Cape Flattery is the most northwest point of the Continental United States and lies in the Olympic National Park’s National Wildlife Refuge.

We are parked with another great view of the ocean and  just across the berm to the beach.  We have finally found a beach that is not at the bottom of a cliff.

If you are a fan of the Twilight series, you know that it took place in Forks and La Push, so Larry was a good sport and drove back to Forks so that I could get pictures of the places were everything took place.  It was fun and now I need to reread the books.
