I had an ordinary, uneventful day.  I had my IELTS class at 8:00 this morning, and I wasn't sure whether I'd show them Harry Potter or not because the purpose of our time together is for me to prepare them for a standardized test they have to take over the summer.  Our time together is precious, so I wasn't sure if the students would be keen on spending two weeks watching a film.  I should have known better, though, because I put the issue to a loose vote this morning, and everyone who spoke up wanted to watch the film.

After that class, I walked through the rain back to my room, and spent most of the day playing on the internet.  After a very short nap, I walked with Charles to the front gate for dinner.  We went to our favorite Sichuan restaurant and had all our favorite dishes.

I then had my evening class, and we watched Harry Potter.  A collection of girls formed outside the classroom.  They were peaking at the movie through the small windows in the front and back doors.  I had my students tell them that they could come in and watch the movie with us, but they were embarrassed.  They preferred to peak through the windows every now and then and distract us all.  They stopped after a half our or so.
