Twelve Hours in Zurich

Zurich is a beautiful city with a rich contrast between new and old city. The streets of the old city are paved with cobblestones and people drink beer with eggs for breakfast, gotta' love it.
The city looks amazing, clean but filled with people and not shrink wrapped. There are many businesses, stores, and restaurants to choose from. For lunch we stopped and ate a genuine sausage with beer, can you have anything else?
People are polite, and if you just think about crossing the street traffic comes to a grinding halt. Prices are high, at least at the time I was there, so beware.
The most amazing site was Switzerland from the air, just like I imagined it from the Heidi stories I read as a kid. Small towns with red roofs sprinkled on the green ground, and the Alps hang in the distance.
Overall: Well worth the journey, even if it's for a few hours. Absolutly will come back for more.
