We are heading back home, we leave at around 10:00 after breakfast, bracing ourselves for a long drive.
The ride was uneventful, we stopped often to let our daughter out, and she slept a long time as well. Overall: Vermont is beautiful but you can do the whole state in two days if you're not into serious outdoor sports. The fact that the state closes at 20:00 does not make it an ideal vacation destination. If I want a piece of cake and coffee at 22:00 while I'm on vacation. I was able to get it in the middle of Peru, and I should be able to get in Vermont. The state might be kids friendly, but certainly not babies friendly.
