Cool Cusco

Now we are several people traveling together, four Israeli guys (Alon, Shai, Benni and me) and two Belgium ladies (Mimi and Valerie). We took the train from Puno to Cusco, got us some funny hats and settled at Hostal Familiar.
Cusco is a beautiful city, a mix of old Inca buildings, with Spanish ones, a big square and good food. We walked around enjoying the architecture, fascinated by the Inca craftsmanship and stone cutting, including the famous 12 corner stone. The lower part of the buildings were built by the Incas (the walls are so well built, that no vegetation grows in between the cracks), and the tops were built by the Spaniards.
The results are amazing.
We immediately got settled at Plaza de Armas, found a nice place for us to eat breakfast everyday, and a club to go out to at nights. The club was nice, if you got there early enough you didn't have to pay the cover charge (a whopping US$1), and drinks at half price. Our new English friends, and an Austrian named Manfred (who could drink all of Peru under the table) taught us to buy many drinks so they last you the whole night.
Once the club closed we sometimes went to an all night restaurant to eat some chicken, and have some local beer. The weak guys like myself left at 2 AM, the more manly man left at around 4 AM, only to wake up the next morning to see Manfred still drinking.
