Machu Picchu was amazing. Yes, there were way too many tourists, blabbing guides, and we DID take the train. But still. The ruins were fabulous. I still cannot believe that this ancient civilization had the crazy idea of building Machu Picchu where it is. The surrounding scenery was so beautiful, really lush and green. The stone buildings looked really cool backdropped against the green of the hills. All in all it was definitely worth the $130 USD we paid to see it.
