Element analyse: La cuisine Chinoise et ses moeurs

Description : 

中国入 不 吃  相同 加拿大入。他们 吃 牛肉,鸡肉,鱼,羊肉 和 青蛙,猪pi 。。。砍 怪 ,dan 一些 恨好。

Well... for the ones that had in mind that, because they are small, Chinese don’t eat much, or fot those that thought Americans eat a lot... you were wrong!!  I have never seen people eating that much in my life。。。 And, they are not big! Obviously to eat that much, the food must be good. Effectivly, there are so many vegatables and fruits, cooked in so different ways.

The wierd kinds of mushroms were good, the troath of I don't know what were also good, as well as the plants and the sweet soup of eggs of some animals. In the. case of the frog, I could say that the tast is quite inabitual to what I am use to. Furthermore, when I said that I have tried everything, well I don't know if it's right... I had lunch in a restaurant with the English teachers of my school on last Monday and after a while they told me that a plate was actually cooked pork' skin! The point is that I don't know if I had already tried it, but I didn't after. For another exemple, for lunch yesterday, I had a part of a turtle (I don know which part... don t really want to know) and tongues of duck (it is really expensive because a duck has only one tongue). There was also a thing, that I later learned that was frog's pulmons... please don t ask if I tired, I don t remember and I don t want to remember! Although, the greentea cake, the eggssoup, all seafood and plants are such delicious.

Another part of the eating culture is the use of the chopstick... I have cramps in every and each of my fingers, but I haven t use a fork, or a knife, since I set food in the country. I think the hardest is to eat fried eggs and dim sum. The first is just impossible to cut with chopstick and the second are impossible to hold (dim sum are kind of jelly cake with meat in it).

Constat/ analyse:

I  always say that we can't say we don't like something before to have previously tried it. So, I try!!! I have tryied everything they offered me, because trying is part of the travelling experience and essential to learn about a culture.

In sum, in some part it is very different from what we know in Quebec, but in others it isn't. That is way more true when we pass by a McDo or a KFC! Finaly, I think that it is by triyng that I wil learn go like evrything (or almost) just like kids do. And, as we learned in class, the chinese cuisine is an art in itself and is very interesting... if you don t mind to try and to eat things you don t know. But it is essential to take a bit of the country's culture. 
The picture was taken during my first lunch with the teachers of the school. It is during that lunch that I eat the sweet egg's soup, frog and cooked pork' skin. You can see on the table there are various plates, in which we help ourselves。 Furthermore, we are holding the chopsticks, the plate, the bol and the spoon with what we eat (we also have, each of us, a soya sauce bol)。

Very interesting topic! The Chinese food is so tasty, so people just can't help resist the temptation and they do have very good appetite. I'm glad to know that you survived and succeeded the chopsticks practice. You will become even more skillful as time goes by. As we often say, practice makes perfect!
