Cape Horn, at sea
The bottom of the earth (except Antarctica). The southernmost point of South America.
Sailed around Cape Horn on our way to Ushuaia. The itinerary says "Marco Polo sails serenely past this meeting point of the Atlantic and the Pacific". Serene apparently means 85km/hr winds, high cresting waves, and a cabin that won't sit still. Not much to see, unfortunately because it is so overcast. But I have sailed around Cape Horn, and am now in the Pacific ocean for the first time this on this journey!
