Well Life has been continuing on, as it does.  Winter has gotten it's claws into everything again.  The trees are almost bare, the coats are on, and we have been plunged into darkness.  But Christmas is on its way, and this keeps people happy for a bit longer.

We have been lucky enough to catch up with some people from home, which i find very exciting.  It is funny how once you start talking, it feels like you could be back in Australia doing what you have always done.  Meeting new people, i think, makes a place feel a lot more foreign then catching up with people you know, but may not have seen for a long time.

So we got to catch up with Maggie and Dave.  It was good as i haven't seen them since they got married and it was good to be able to congratulate them in person.  We went out for tapas with them and court, had a bit to much to drink and ended up with a headache the next day.  So a good night had by all!

Today we also got to see Courtney.  She has just become a flight attendant with emirate's airlines and had a flight to London with a night stop over.  We went for a walk and had some brunch.  It is an interesting life being an international flight attendant, she has already been to Beijing, Mauritius, Seoul  and is going to Paris soon.  Sounds exciting, but seems to involve a lot of hard work and being away from family and friends for a lot of time.

We don't have much planned at the moment, snowboarding in Feb, but but nothing is booked yet.  And still no roster for Christmas, so no idea what is happening then!  But we are still having a great time. xx
