Arrived in Barcelona in am. It was a 7 hour flight from JFK.
Took the public bus to town and walk to our lodging, Hostal Levante.
Lots of European teens in the hostal.
Walk to the Ramblas.Lots of human statues and performers in this walking promenade.
Saw the Miro mosaics in the Ramblas.
Enter the market public.(Boqueria).Tasted some Serrano Ham.
Ate dinner in Los Caracoles  restaurant,an old restaurant.Saw the typical leg of hams hanging from the ceiling.
Ate snails,grilled chicken and white beans with sausage.
Walk to the Columbus  Monument at the end of th Ramblas which is near the harbor.
