Another day, another town. Here I am in the City of Lake City. Kind of unusual for a town name, oh well.
This is a cute town. About 140 miles north of Orlando. It was a nice drive. They have a little main street that they are trying to revitalize. They are the county seat for the county - I am not sure which one.
They just converted an old bank into the City Hall. It is really kind of cool. There is a chandelier in the lobby where people pay their utility bills. That is not something you see every day. The building overlooks a nice lake. Everything is picturesque.
We ate lunch at a diner at the corner of Main Street and something else. It was in an old building and I had fried pork chops for the first time in my life! See, if you don't do everything as a kid you have so many things to look forward to!
Surprisingly, nothing really bizarre happened on this trip. That is really amazing!
