We had so many things to write about, where to begin.
On Thursday we decided to go to Dachau. We found the S Bahn without any trouble, it is in the hotel lobby. However, we could not figure out how to get a ticket out of the machine. We had to go to the hotel to buy one. The train trip was nice. The visit to Dachau was appropriately dreary. I was surprised by the size of it. I took lots of pictures. We made our way back to city centre and had dinner in the Neu Ratzhous in a nice restaurant. We walked around and went to the Haufbraus house and heard the band play traditional German songs and a lot of people looked like they were having too much fun, if you know what I mean.
Next day we got our car and were pleasantly surprised about it
We made it to the Castle without a problem and had a grand tour. Back to Munchen and we were fine until we hit the city. Lets just say we had a very nice detailed tour. Saw almost everything the city has to offer, sometimes many times.
There of course are many Dianne, and now Judy stories to tell! We are on our way to Nurnberg next. I am at this computer because we are printing out detailed maps to help us take scenic routes only when we want to. THIS IS FUN!

1 Our adventure vehicle
. We ended up with a brand new Mercedes and it is big and an automatic! Can not figure out how to use most of the stuff in it. We tried to play a cd and it kept telling us other stuff to do. We also can not figure out the navigation system. It might be very easy, but with everything in German it was impossible. Our translation book did not have the right words. There is a much longer story about this later in the trip. Stay tuned! We made it to the Castle without a problem and had a grand tour. Back to Munchen and we were fine until we hit the city.
