I'm psyching myself up by uploading more pictures taken last year. Too bad I hadn't learned about Travelpod years ago to capture the many trips we have taken. Let's see, since 1997 when it first was created we have been to Chile and Argentina, Japan, Spain, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, three weeks through the Southwest in the States, two weeks in Napa and the coast of California, the Yucatan and Cuernavaca and Zihuatenajo, England, Portugal and many trips to Arizona and Florida--all this since the late 90's. Before that we had taken many trips to Europe (especially France and England when the dollar was strong, also Italy. We can't wait to go back to Australia and New Zealand, where we were in the 90's. Esteban's business travels have taken him to Korea and Zambia and Israel, back in the day. And while in the Peace Corp in Bolivia in the 60's he traveled extensively throughout S. America. We have both been to Peru.

Many of these trips were taken together in the 23 years we have been married and now that we are retired we plan to take many, many more. Many of these trips predate digital photography, the internet and email so we have several shelves full of leatherette bound snapshots gathering dust.

Three cheers for technological advances that make it possible to capture memories and share them on the world wide web.

This trip to San Miguel for 2006 is the second trip I have blogged since joining Travelpod Dec. 2005. the first was done after we got back from our Westward Ho trip to the Canadian and US Rockies.
