We found a rocky clearing and set up camp. Then we had a swim in the river, but had to walk through thigh deep mud to get to it. How the mud was so squishy I don't know, so when we got out we were mud men.
Ruddall River National Park
So we enter the most remote National park in the country and stop in the middle for the night and had a nice swim in the gorge. We made up a list of birds that we saw and they were, finches, budgies, mudlarks, kingfisher, little swans and little magpies.
When we got to Newman, we set up and relaxed, knowing we had a massive day ahead of us
Karijini National Park
The gorge at Karijini was called Dales Gorge and had two areas, Circular Pool and Fortesque Falls. We swam in Fern Pool because the other two were too cold. The gorge was awesome, rad, hard, interesting and fantastic. The walk was very hot and hard but I had a truck load of fun.
The next day, when we left we went to a gorge called Hamersley gorge it was beautiful and wonderful. We swam in two small pools and I learnt how to rock surf on the algae wooh hooh. It is now my favourite gorge, we saw lots of fish there too.
