[a blog entry by Hunter Lachance, age 8}

we are out in the middle of knowere ! It is really, really, really hot here....and really really really dusty, but the pool and ocean make if fun!  And so do the 3 huge dogs, one small ugly but cute dog, and two cats. :)

But it is a really big place .on thursday I wake up to my mom running around like a mad girl. I felt like I was in a zoo except my mom was the only animal in the zoo and she wasn't in a cage. she told me  that she was cooking brekfast but it didn't look like it. when we finished eating brekfast and were dressed, we headed for the car to go fish!  This was the most interesting marina i have ever seen.

what a adventure!  most of the boats looked like they would sink.  to get the boat in the water, we had to use a trailer out to the water, it didn't look very smart.  we used hand lines to fish for grouper and rabbitfish.  By handlines, I mean pulling a line up like you were simply measuring how deep the water was, no pole!  My dad got blisters all over his hands.  we also caught an eel, a moray eel!  we didn't eat it.

We caught about 18 fish! One in piticuler was 3by1 feet! you will see a picture.  When the fish came up, their eyes were gross and bulgy because they had been down deep.

hope you liked my blog, lightning lachance a.k.a. Hunter

LOL! Hunter paints a very clear picture. I can see Sarah running around like an uncaged animal! Funny to hear a different perspective. Love reading all your blog posts!
