Today is the day we begin to answer letters to our Pen Pals at Santa Rosa Charter School. We have delivered letters written back to the kids as we make a connection with kids from Lo de Marcos and Santa Rosa. They letters are written in Spanish and are incorporated into the Spanish Class in Santa Rosa.

The kids here in Mexico are fascinated with the yearbook that shows pictures of each kid with their class and activities of the school year. It is amazing how the photos make the connection much more real and exciting for the kids. This is just the beginning of our relationship with schools in the states.

We celebrated Patti's (Patti chica)birthday. Another wonderful cake and the birthday song in English and Spanish. We got a lesson in the Spanish version...it is a long song....really fun.
