Today was a day of many things.....
We are very happy to have found a teacher who lives here in Lo de Marcos who would like to take on the job of keping the day to day creative juices flowing at La Casa. Her name is Dianna and she is the sister in law of Dave and Patti's caretaker Norma. She seems very responsible and this is her first week.

The mural continues to be developed...El Pulpo is getting in position, and the Frigat is taking front stage position. The Ninos are starting to paint the waves around the remaining 3 walls of the porch and make plans to paint torgugas, pez, dolphins, and much more.... We are in the midst of beautifying La Casa and the sign being painted and put back up on the roof is what is happening today. Dave helps the kids by tracing the name in chalk and giving them the paint. They did a great job....there are plans for a tortuga and iguana painted by Amalia, our guest muralist.

We celebrate birthdays here in La Casa with birthday cakes, this time we made cakes with the help of the birthday girl, Lucy and Trini...and of course a host of other ninos...Whenever something is going on in the kitchen, it always draws alot of attention.

Hello
Hi KC,
I just got my email from school and came upon your great blog. What fun! Everything you're doing looks fantastic. Maybe one day Bill and I will be able to see it in person.
We had Weston here today helping. He's a great guy!
Always willing to work and so upbeat!
Hope to hear more as things progress.
XO
Rhonda
