We are finishing up the basics and moving into the next phase.......It is an amazing process and to learn about being spontaneous is something I think we all will hope to have the opportunity to do before we leave this wonderful planet.....

Dulce and Amalia talk about the project and where we need to take it from here....how are the kids feeling about it? what do they feel inspired to do? Where do we want them to put there creations and how can we help them manifest their creativity? How can we help them understand how we are responsible for caring for this beautiful world of ours. Big questions but these questions are what is at the root of what we are doing......
Planning the next step of how to get the kids at La Casa to understand what is behind the passion of this mural....that the beauty of Lo de Marcos is a treasure that must be protected and treasured.....how do we do THAT????

Robby starts to add to the sky...a black frigat...so often seen in the skys above the ocean in Lo de Marcos. Willie and Patti continue their job at organizing the paper supplies and making the way for more fun at La Casa Las Artistas discuss the project

. Dave, Dulce and I found a kindergarten teacher who lives in the Pueblo who would like to help with inspiring projects for the kids and keeping La Casa moving forward as Dulce creates an opening for change in her life. This is really exciting. Her name is Dianna and a friend of hers and our Kenya is wanting to be involved also. Both are Mexican women from the town and have a special fondness for the children.

We want to take this opportunity to thank Art Etc. in Chico for the generous donation of paint brushes to help us make this dream come true. As you can see, they have been put to good use and we hope that they will help us create many more murals and beautiful artwork. Thank you so much for your generosity.

We came home for a dinner of pancakes, bacon and lobster (caught by Robby yesterday). Wow that was yummy. We are all a little tired and rightfully so....it is Domingo (sunday) and a day that we can rest and enjoy the beauty....soak in the energy and get ready for next week.

Robby with endless energy plays soccer, swims and talks to his Mexican Friends. Amalia...a little tired from the day but she ralleys to swim out into the surf and to the boat for a ride with friends. A beautiful sunset with pinks and oranges ....clouds and ocean reflecting colors... We went out for chuey's Tacos tonight for dinner and then for an ice cream (Robby's treat)!!! Stay tuned for the next step in this adventure and more pictures.

Mas, Mas, Mas....
Esta es magnifico! Gracias para este blog. Para Robbie... como se dice Bioluminescence en espanol?
Quantos tiene Los lingostas en este vacacion? Es los pisces grande? viva la mural! Es muy bonita.

OK Ok I'm a gringo wishing I was there to participate, celebrate, and enjoy the surroundings. (and learn some Spanish on the side ;-) Thanks for letting us enjoy the progress virtually. Have Robbie describe what a city of lights looks like on the reef at night under water.

Cheers,

Padre

Re: muchas gracias
Thank you for your comments....so much fun to have this way of sharing. Good Idea to get Robby to describe the 'underwater city of lights' on the blog. He can hardly stand still when he gets home ....telling us about what he has seen. He literally is jumping up and down....He spends alot of time with Carlos on the boat, early mornings and night dives....what an experience....He is great kid and we are enjoying both Amalia and Robby immensely........wait for more.......
