Well, in the spirit of magic and miracles, I was dreaming about a Mural and preparing for it...not really knowing what it would be. It was Friday night...just after our most generous and faithful friends came forward to help with the prep painting.....we had this email from Amalia Crumm. Amalia is 16 years old and is from Chico California. She and her family have been to Lo de Marcos and La Casa de Los Ninos 2 times and we have talked about planning a special project together....and this is what she said.........

Lo De Marcos Mural - by Amalia Crumm
In the past two visits I have paid to Lo De Marcos, I have seen only a
small portion of its beauty, walked its beach and met some of its
people. Yet, it took me less than a day to fall in love with it. I
would like to contribute to the city's natural colors with a few of my
own, in the form of a mural. I'm not sure what location would be best
for this, but I already have an idea for its theme. The painting
would be a depiction of some of the more natural inhabitants. I would
like to include the native animals of Lo De Marcos. It would
represent the city's connection to the wildlife which helps to make
the town the colorful and rural place it is, and will (hopefully)
always be. It will also help to highlight the importance of caring to
maintain a healthy environment in order to keep such animals alive and
healthy, and making choices which will prolong their lives and their
habitats. I think this mural has the potential to make a beautiful
addition to the town's already ravishing beauty. I hope you will
consider it to be so.
Sincerely,
Amalia
Sounded Good to me!!!!!!! Before we knew it ...the plan included Robby, a good friend of the family and of Lo de Marcos (He came to Lo de Marcos with the Nass/Crumm Family in February and is always welcome to visit here).....Please see photos attached of Amalia and Robby and stay tuned for the next chapter .........
