Its me again to update you with more from Africa.

Been a pretty exciting week again, loads going on. I need to remember what i have already told you so i don't repeat myself over and over again coz im quite good at that. Right Draper?

Well thursday was a bit of a mission for me. I had meat prep first thing and it really was the most disgusting thing i have ever done. I walked into the shed and there were just large bits of cow strewn everywhere including intestines and the head and the smell was horrific. Only then did i learn that i would actually be sticking my hands inside each bit to place vitamins inside for the lions. I was shocked by the state of it for about 5 mins then got stuck in. It was actually quite therapeutic in a strange sort of way. I felt like the worst person in the world though as i walked past a little boy of about 4 with a large cow leg and he was looking at his mum saying momby in a tiny voice which means cow in Shona.

The elephant swim was incredible. They would roll over when they got to the lake and i was underwater for about a minute but it was so so fun. Would definitely do it again and im getting a dvd done so you can all watch when i get back. I was holding on for dear life to begin with.

Saturday i went to the local Orphanage in Gweru which was an eye opening experience. Wasn't the worst one in the world and the children looked generally happy but it was just so sad. I had lost all my stuff in about 2 mins of arriving including my camera and sunglasses as they all wanted pics wearing them. A lot of them were ill which was the most upsetting thing of all but just being there and giving them some much needed attention put a smile on their faces so it was worth it. However trying to give your attention to 30 kids at once when their grabbing your arms is a knack i still need to learn.

Had horse induction yesterday for the whole day and learnt how to bridle and saddle a horse which i was actually quite proud of. We went for a game ride after and came face to face with animals from Giraffe to Zebra  it really was incredible. They didn't mind us being so close as all they saw were the horses and not us riding them. I have a Luna horse ride tonight which should be pretty fun. Riding through the African Savannah on a horse late at night, how many people can say they have done that?

Had an afternoon off today which was relaxing. Me and my room mate Kate, who ironically went to primary school with my brother (how weird is that, small world) tool out a canoe on the dam. Really hot and now i have got relatively brown legs which im quite pleased with. Apparently there is a crocodile in there but we didn't see it. Kate nearly fell out the canoe whilst trying to manover herself to stand in a tree for some pictures and it was the funniest thing i have ever seen, i couldn't move for laughing.

That is what i have been doing for the last 4 days in brief, along with the usual poo picking and maintenance of the park. The cubs are gettingt bigger and bigger everyday and are what most of my pictures contain but hey im never probably going to see a baby lion again so why not.I probably won't update this now for a while as ive got a Victoria Falls trip next week so shall hopefully get some awesome pics from that to show you. Bungee jump is looking imminent there is a group of us doing it so lets hope i don't bottle it at the las minute.

Hope everybody is ok, please keep sending me comments and making me smile i still want to know what is going on at home.

Love you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
