A las 8:00 nos preparamos para ir a visitar (amb els dos gironins), la ciudad antigua de sukhothai, la primera capital del reinado siam. Esta a unos 15km de Sukhothai con lo que tenemos que cojer una furgoneta que nos cuesta 20 Bhats, i alquilar una bicicleta en la ciudad historica por 20 bhats mas. La ciudad historica es magnifica lleno de piedras historicas i de estatuas de Buddha de hace 700 anos (acordaros que no encuentro la enye). La bcicleta es realmente necesaria debido a que para ir de un templo a otro hay 3 kilometros, i la entrada a los templos vales unos 130 bhats.
Si se quiere hacer una visita rapida y solo visitar un de los templos se recomienda ir al Simchu (ver foto), es el mas impresionante. Es un Buddha... mirar la foto ya que es dificil de explicar.
Sukhothai central Historic City
Se recomiendo venir a este templo por las fechas 23-24 de noviembre ya que se hace un festival, donde las mujeres se visten con ropas de fiesta de la epoca y segun me han dicho algunos guias es muy interesante.La tarde plananado el viaje a las cascadas de Tee Lor Su (las mas grandes de tailandia), supuestamente es dificil llegar, pero ya os contare.
8:00 am and the best thing, or at least what's the recommended is go to see the old city of Sukhothai. 15 km away from sukhothai and 20bhat van drive, we find the first capital of the Siam kingdom. I recommend to rent a bike for 20 bhat at the entrance, cause to go from one temple to the other it is 2-3km. It consists in a central temple and the temples surrounding it, the most interesting one is this one called Simchu (see photos).
During the 23-24th of november they have festivals going on so I recommend to come on this dates.
