Where I stayed
After getting ready and packing up my car with help from dad, we went for a lovely breakfast/lunch at Panera. No it was not brunch it was breakfast for me and lunch for dad. But I didn't mind that he thought I already had breakfast because I enjoyed sleeping in. So our food was very delicious then we stopped at Verizon to see if they could figure out all the weird things my phone does. The solution was to steal Becky's upgrade and get a cool new phone. It looks like a nice normal phone but flips open and you can type on a little keyboard. I told them I just wanted a normal phone that calls people and nothing else but somehow I found this cool in-between phone that does some other stuff but isn't too high-tech.
Then I started driving. It wasn't too exciting but it was good it was uneventful I guess. I learned an important lesson: never think you can wait until after the next turn to stop. I saw a Tim Horton's at right about 3 o'clock which is when I was planning to stop. But I was only like 3 miles from the next turn so I decided to wait until after. I did not see any where else to stop until 4:20 when I was only about half an hour from my destination. I was excited I finally got there but I wish I stopped earlier. But now I have learned a good lesson.
The boring part of the drive had some interesting things, for instance, I drove through "Flag Village USA" after passing Findlay - Flag City USA. So I guess it is the smaller version. I also saw what looked like a drive thru convenience store but Karyn said it may have been a drive thru liqueur store. Apparently they have those around here.
Finally I arrived at Karyn's and we began our fun times together. First, we ate the rest of my timbits and watched "Say Yes to the Dress" then we headed out for dinner. We went to "Cheeseburger in Paradise" where we both got some chicken salad's and then got some chocolate nachos to go. Apparently, these are the best dessert and usually have lots of chocolate sauce and strawberries but the guy forgot to give that part to us. But we got a cheesy movie from red box and went back to Karyn's house and ate our nachos with ice cream while watching it. The movie was called "Before you say 'I Do'". It was very predictable and silly but still cute. It went well with the nachos.
Then we watched an episode of the "Big Bang Theory" that she had saved and we laughed heartily. It is such a funny show! Then we watched some of Hannah Montana and the Office. Now, Karyn has fallen asleep on the couch and I am going to go to bed to prepare for the long drive tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will be back in Lynchburg with Barb. I think I will stay for a few days so I can spend at least one whole day working on job stuff and applying and things like that. Then I will be at Andrew's house again to attend another wedding. Oh how did I get to the age where I have so many weddings to attend? I do not know.
