Since we left the Masai Mara, we have been back to Nairobi for a couple of nights.  While there we went to a Giraffe sanctuary where we got to feed the Giraffes!  At the sanctuary they are working on breeding an almost extinct species of giraffe to release back into the wild.  Amazing animals!!

We then went a visited an Elephant orphanage where they take abandoned animals and look after them until they are old enough to fend for themselves.  The orphanage is open, so that once the animals are old enough they can wander into the wild whenever they feel like it.  The elephants themselves were brilliant!!  There was one that kept trying to climb over the rope into the crowd of people to play.  Very entertaining!!

Other then that, this was a time to recharge a little, catch up on the internet, etc.
