The start of our trip was a van ride to join up with the truck. There are 4 of us joining a group of people that have been together for a few weeks.

We had an afternoon relaxing at the campground, finding our way around, and working out how everything works! The next morning it was off to the Masai Mara.

After a long drive, we spent a couple of hours in the afternoon doing a game drive through the Masai Mara. It wasn't the most successfull of game drives, we didn't see a huge amount. The highlight was most definately the lion family, including cub that we saw feeding!

The next morning was an early start for another game drive. Again there wasn't much, apparently they migration is not happening as per usual this year due to the rain (have I mentioned that it has rained quite a bit since we got here?) Apparently the animals have enough water in the Serengeti and are not moving to the Masai Mara in the expected huge numbers. We did manage to see quite a few Zebra, Wilderbeast, Impalas, Giraffes, Elephants and Lions, including a cub,

From here we headed back to Nairobi.
