Surfacing from the depths of the dark sea like a mighty beluga whale, he breaks the water contact to catch a breath of fresh air... (A light polka - emphasis on the accordion)

Entry 15 of 16 | show all | print this entry

To wrap up the whole experience, I had a pleasant dinner at the end of the course with my instructors.

The actual dining experience is something worthy to note.  The French eat quite differently then we do...  I don't me with their feet or anything absurd like that.  The French make dinner an actual 'dining experience' - they don't hastily suck down a dinner.  They first have initial drinks to get things started, then on to appetizers and more drinks, then the main course with wine, and they wrap it up with desert and coffee; all of which totals in a 2 ½ hour meal.
