The Fregrance of AFRICA
Entry 4 of 8 | show all | print this entry |
JP asked me, "Do you know what seat you are in?" I looked at my ticket and couldn't decipher where I was sitting. An hour of waiting passed and a French voice came across the P.A. Everyone packed their way out of one door like cattle entering the puree. I waited patiently until I could easily pass. As I entered the plane and encountered the warm welcoming smell of Africans I have grown accustom to, I realized why I didn't have a seat assignment. It was because I didn't have a seat assignment!! Luckily, JP pushed his way towards the middle of the herd and found a seat for both of us in the back. After a quick 25 min. jump to Port Gentil, I was finally at my destination. It was well past sun down and once I reached my new home, I passed out like a sack o' potatoes.
