I arrived in JoBurg at noon. My flight to Luanda didn't leave 'till the following day. So I had a whole day more to relax. But initially things were a little stressfull in JoBurg cause only brought $120 spending cash and checked all my credit card with my luggage. It was barely enough to stay in a hotel and pay for a cab ride to and from the airport with out eating a meal. I told the cabbie of my dilemma and he had a solution. He made a phone call and hooked me up with a friend of his who ran a Hostile in JoBurg.
It was a really nice place. It had a beautiful garden and all the fixins of a hotel (minus the little shampoo bottles) and was cheap enough that I could have a big ol' stake for dinner. I spent the whole day napping off and on - pool side, in my bed, and on the couch. It was nice except the bad tan lines I got from sleeping with my hands behind my head pool side.
