Thank you for tuning in to Cooking with Lisa. First, let me familiarize everyone with today's delicacies.
Pastasas Oliv = Pasta sauce with Olives
Lovanger = Mini flatbread used for sandwiches
Edamer and senap = Edamer cheese and mustard
Rokt Stinka = my words exactly! This is Kyle's sandwich meat
Frostiga Flingor = you guessed it, frosted flakes
Apelsinjuice and Jordgubb Fruktdryck = Orange juice and Strawberry juice (SO GOOD)
Mork Choklad = My chocolate, don't touch!
Fruit juices here are so amazing. They seem to be blended whole and poured directly into the carton. The last sip of my strawberry juice is always speckled with tiny little seeds and chunky bits of fruit. It's thick, like a smoothie without the extra sugar. It makes me wonder, what the heck was I drinking back in America?
So, foods here might be a little different, but it's okay. One food related disappointment = no vegetarian "meat."
I'd like to cook a meal for everyone tonight, but I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas. Casserole? Mini pizzas on flatbread? One thing I do know, we are all sick of pasta and sandwiches.
