Hi Guys- I hope you're all doing well. Today we slept in and didn't leave for Yellowstone until 11. We drove through the southern part of the park and saw some of the geysers, paint pots and old faithful.  It was really interesting to see old faithful and we listened to a very informative talk explaining how old faithful works.  We drove through the Grand Tetons after that, but unfortunately it was very overcast today and you couldn't see much of the mountains.   It was still beautiful there.  From there we traveled through the Grand Teton pass where you loop around and up a mountain and then head down the other side.   It wouldn't be a road trip without a. a speeding ticket, which Phil accomplished at Mount Rushmore (we actually have always been going the speed limit but that happened to be downhill where it changes from 55 to 35 and a cop sits there and nabs people with out of state plates) and b. car trouble.  As I was driving down the other side of the mountain (it was a struggle getting up it in the first place) and apparently you're not supposed to brake continuously so I overheated the brakes.  We pulled over and waited for them to cool down so hopefully all is well.  Let's hope that's our only time the car breaks down!!!  We drove to Salt Lake City tonight and are staying outside the city tonight.  Tomorrow we're driving to Arches National Park in southern Utah.  We'll hopefully be camping the rest of the way.  That's all for today- hope you all are doing well- miss you and Boston already!!!!
