This has truly been an awesome adventure! We've learned alot about sailing, motoring, docking and ourselves. We've made new friends and gotten to know old friends better.
It's been a LONG trip and we're glad we did it but we realize that we're quite content to cruise the Chesepeake with occational trips to the BVIs. The Bahamas are indeed beautiful and we will probably go back but in a big silver bird and we'll stay in one or two of the lovely resorts. The Bahaman people are extremely friendly, very nice and exceptionally kind and the cruisers are like one big family. We'll be back!
We will be returning to the Bahamas and White Wave on Feb 11 to spend our final two weeks there and we will return home for good on the 26th. Jen and Eric will be joining us on the 20th for four days so they can see what we've been doing for two months.White Wave will be brought back some time in March. Soooo
White Wave II's B.O.L.D. Adventure is signing off.
Yep, we're back home in good ole Horsham. It's good to sleep in a real bed and shower in our own brand new shower. Wednesday morning was a little sad and lonely, s/v Paloma and Pamonette departed for Man O War Cay so we were left with none of our buddies for the day. Kelsey had planned to do some snorkeling but the trip got canceled so we took the ferry over to Hopetown for the day. Thursday, after cleaning the boat and packing we went to the airport at noon for our 2pm flight home. The flight from Ft. Lauderdale was an hour late which gave Kelsey's bag time to catch up with us. It seems it got left on the tarmac in Marsh Harbor. We arrived in Philly with all bags accounted for - yea!
